Melinda was very knowledgeable. She gave me several suggestions which were very helpful. At first I honestly didn't think they would work. But they did! She suggested keeping our cats inside for 90 days so that the cats didn't have outside smells on them. We also moved the cat boxes per her suggestion and clean them twice a day. We are now a very happy cat pee friendly environment thanks to Melinda!!

Melinda is 100% science-based. If anyone has done their research, it's her. She's very professional and has been very educational to me. Even as an animal scientist myself there is little emphasis on behavior in formal education for management, so I am lucky to have met someone so passionate about animal behavior.

At times, my house can be complete chaos. With 2 pigs and 2 dogs, there is rarely ever a dull moment. Generally speaking, the animals coexist as well as can be expected. Other times, however, it seems the charging and the snapping and the fighting will never end. Melinda helped me to understand the complexity of animal social hierarchy and has given me an abundance of insight and has laid the groundwork for behavioral modifications to ensure a much happier household. She is extremely knowledgeable and has proven herself to be indispensable. As she lives in another state, we have always spoken online. Naturally, I was skeptical that anyone could understand my animals and their issues from a brief virtual chat but she has proven time and time again that she can understand and positively impact the behaviors of my dogs and my pigs alike, even while being 7 hours away. My favorite part about working with Melinda is that I don't feel like she is judging me as a horrible pet owner- feelings that the vet can tend to ignite. She is intelligent and understanding and she tells it to you like it is. She doesn't give you generic crap you'll find on Google, and her methods really do work.

We met with Melinda to discuss behavioral issues we have with our cats. Our newest kitty Lil Bit is sometimes bullied by a couple of our other cats. She had some good suggestions, some of which we implemented right away. She taught me the importance of playtime with the cats, getting them to engage with each other through play.
